Hypertech Speedometer Calibrator

If you're running non-stock tires, our Speedometer Calibrator can correct the speedometer and odometer for tires up to 54 inches (for most applications). This device is engineered for the speedometer recalibration functions of the Max Energy Programmer, but without the additional expense of the other tuning features. The Speedometer Calibrator also comes with a USB cable and a CD containing software to enable quick updates and upgrades over the internet.

How does it work? Simply plug the Speedometer Calibrator programmer into the vehicle's under-dash connector, select the tire height and new gear ratio, and in a matter of minutes, your vehicle's computer is reprogrammed for accurate speedometer and odometer readings (as required by law).

In addition, the Speedometer Calibrator reads and clears Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) or "check engine" lights. This allows you to view detailed information about your vehicle�s operation without having to purchase expensive diagnostic computers or scanners used by dealership technicians.

Hypertech Speedometer Calibrator Module

Hypertech's in-Line Speedometer Calibrator Module is an in-line module to correct the speedometer and odometer for unlimited tires sizes and/or rear gear ratios. This module is perfect for vehicles with computers that don¹t allow for tire size and/or rear gear ratio correction or want to re-calibrate for sizes outside the range of programmers.

Installation Is A Snap

Using the USB cable connect the in-line Speedometer Calibrator Module to your PC and enter the new tire height and/or rear gear ratio. There are no limitations to tire height or rear gear ratios. Next, simply disconnect the factory connector to the instrument cluster (behind the dash), snap in the Speedometer Calibrator Module, reconnect the cluster, and you¹re done! In a matter of minutes, you can accurately correct your speedometer and odometer readings (as required by law).

Recalibrates for ANY tire size and/or rear gear ratio. Kit includes USB cable and software CD. Installs easily behind the dash to the factory wiring harness - no splicing required!
